The Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development, Planning and Tourism is hosting the annual Fall Job Fair on Friday October 14th!

 

The event is free to attend and will be held inside the Corporate Building of the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds in Little Valley at 501 Erie Street

 

Doors will open for job seekers at 8:30am and lasts until 11:00 am.  

 

As of 10/6 the following businesses have registered to attend and report over 500 job vacancies! Most of these businesses are located in Cattaraugus County and a few are located in surrounding counties. Some positions are part-time, many are full-time, most of them are year-round and some are seasonal. There is something for everyone!

In addition, there are several resource partners that will be attending the event.  These include JCC's Workforce Development staff attending to showcase the short-term training and certificate programs available at JCC to grow your career, Cattaraugus One Stop Career Center to share information about services available to the unemployed and underemployed. The Cattaraugus-Allegany Workforce Development Board's Disability Resource Coordinator will be available to provide education to people with disabilities about the resources available with employment, how work may effect disability benefits and available work incentives. Healthy Community Alliance will also be attending to assist those without health insurance to navigate the options available through the New York State of Health Marketplace.
